Tiberiu Branga – 2nd Violin - born in Bucharest (Romania) in 1984;  Bachelor degree from the National Art University of Iasi, class prof. Bujor Prelipcean.


Monica Goicea - Viola - born in Bucharest (Romania) in 1980; Bachelor degree from Utrecht Superior School of Arts , Faculty of Music, Classical Department, class prof. Richard Wolfe.


Eduard Zecheru - Cello - born in Buzau (Romania) in 1980; Bachelor and Master Degree fromthe  National University of Music-Bucharest, class prof. Tiberiu Ungureanu and prof. Aurel Niculescu.


Founded in 2002 by students of the National University of Music-Bucharest and guided by prof. Dorel Pascu-Radulescu, the quartet makes itself known among the young generation of Romanian chamber music. For one year the quartet studied with Bujor Prelipcean - first violin and founder of the Voces Quartet and since fall of 2008 is following the program Master of Arts in Music at the Musikhochschule Luzern with Prof. Sebastian Hamann and Prof. Isabel Charisius (Alban Berg). In February 2009 the quartet is in recidency at Aldeburgh Festival in England. During its existence, the quartet improved its knowledge with other great musicians like Amernet Quartet (USA), Eugen Sarbu (UK), Amati Quartett (Switzerland), Artemis Quartett, Martin Lovett, Hugh McGuire, Hatto Beyerle and Stefan Metz.


In 2003 the quartet won the 2nd Prize at the "Prometeus" Competition; in 2004 won the 1st Prize and the Prize for "The best interpretation of a Romanian piece at "Ludwig van Beethoven" String Quartet Competition held in Bucharest; in 2008 won the 1st Prize in the international competition „Charles Hennen” held in Heerlen, The Netherlands.


In 2006 The Renaissance Quartet offers a very long series of concerts to the American and Canadian public. During it's years of experience, the quartet has appeared on many Romanian TV stations as well as on the French TV station "Mezzo". Currently the quartet is performing recitals in U.K (residency at Aldeburgh), Romania, Germany, Holland and Switzerland.
